Every year I seem to look forward to my summer holiday more and more, and this year my girlfriend and I will be joined by a new member of the family! By the time late summer comers round, My daughter will be six months old and just about ready for a quick trip to a warm country close by! A lot of people would be reluctant to take their child on a plane at such a young age, but it is not unheard of and I want to introduce her to some of the nicer parts of Europe as soon as I can.

We started to look online for airline tickets which seemed suitable for a child so young and we eventually found a travel company that we thought would be really supportive with such a young passenger on board. Our little girl is not the heaviest of sleepers in the world, but the one thing which seems to guarantee sleep is a rumbling noise of any kind, so a plane would definitely do the trick!

Planning a holiday with a little one is a different thing entirely from planning one without! You have to consider so much but I am sure it will all be worth it. She won’t be able to tell us yet whether or not she is enjoying herself, but by that time she will be eating new things so I can’t wait to start to introduce her to some continental flavours, albeit in paste form!
